| Changes to House | New interior paint job, new carpet, front and back yard landscaping, new kitchen cabinets. I removed approximately 3 tons of cactus and yucca plants from the front and back yards. There was only one area of grass, approximately 5'x5' and the rest of the ground was dirt, rocks, and stickers. The yard is approximately 50'x60' with one tree in the back corner that was unapproachable because of the stickers and cactus. After removing the cactus and yucca plants, I tilled and leveled the ground and planted grass seed. It took more than 6 months for the grass to begin coming through but there is now more grass than ever before and I think it will eventually be thick enough to walk through bare foot. I've since moved 10 tons of rocks in the back in a design of my own with an walkway, a deck area, an area for bird feeders, 4 more trees, and a garden. I've also put in a brick pad for a fire pit, and soon a permanent barbeque. I have a screened in patio with wall to wall grass matting but I think I'll eventually tile it instead. The garage has been converted into another room but needs a permanent heat source for it to be included into the square footage, coming soon. |
| Memory | Not too many memories, except of the how much work me and my wife put into the house before we could move in. The back yard was horrid! It was covered in stickers, cactus, and yucca plants. Now ALL the cactus and yucca plants have been removed, removing the stickers was a pain staking process that took hours upon hours to do, one plant at a time |
