Removed Pantry and put in a new kitchen with breakfast
bar. Under the house had been used for a place to collect garbage. I
remember my Mother telling us that Dad climbed under it and brought
garbage up in buckets. He would bring a bucket full up and vomit and go
down for another bucket. Started to put in a bathroom upstairs. Mother
enclosed part of the back porch and put a doorway from the master
bedroom to the new enclosed area for a walk in closet. It was always
very cold in the closet because she did not insultate it.

The old furnance blew air up from the grate in the
floor between the living and dining rooms. My sisters and myself would
stand over it in the morning with our long nightgowns and the flow
would billow our gowns.

Beautiful 160 acres, 2 ponds, and riding horses as far
back as 1974, before my family owned the house. We raised horses,
sometimes poultry, goats, and grew wheat and hay. My childern were
lucky enough to spend their first years of their life on this land.
