| Changes to House | Added a patio in the back of the home as well as all the landscaping, including the Black Japanese pine trees flanking the driveway. I recall that the landscaping cost $3,000 and was designed to require the least amount of yard work. |

| Other Information | Although we resided on deep water and had a small pier, we only owned a boat for a very short time and never really enjoyed being on the water much; however, we liked our unobstructed view of Broad Bay until homes were built across the street. We were about the seventh home built on the island, and I recollect many of the first families who resided at Bay Island: the Butlers, Sundts, Abbotts, Donaldsons, Deloaches, Shaws, Wares, Humphreys, Sweeneys, and Tarrants. |

all, rid of all the junk , cleaned the
yards, new landscape,porch,renewing the hard wood floors, paint,
kitchen, new bath room, etc...

So far nothing
but work except the 4th of July, 1st
weekend here in our home and at the corner where the Fire Station is
they set off the most wonderful fire works and the neighbors and
ourselves sat arond in lawn chairs and had a great time, sipping lemon
aid and sharing storys. Love this town and my neighbors.:)
