Tell us about your memories of the house?	the house seemed huge to us when we were growing up. nine children were raised their but there always seemed to be enough room for everyone. the basement however was a scary dungeon, especially to us younger children as it was a "dug out" basement which included a root cellar which my big brother used to tease us by tellling us our deceased grandfather was buried in it.

The new owners renovated it. They turned the breezeway into a dining room. They fenced in the backyard. When we lived there, There was a giant pine tree in the front yard that my grandparents planted when they built it. It took up the entire front yard. When we moved in, we planted a small one next to it. when we left, the small one was 10 feet tall. My grandfather put a bar in the basement. in the bar are hidden cubby holes. He used to hide valuables in them. He also supposedly did this all over the house when he built it. When I was a kid, we found the ones in the bar though and inside were coins he thought were valuable.The first bedroom as you walk into the house used to be the dining room. It used to open up into the kitchen and there was a breakfast bar dividing the two rooms. There was always a dining room door though lol, we dont know why. So when we lived there it was a 2 bedroom with a dining room, living room, kitchen and breezeway to the patio and garage. There are 2 big trees out back, my grandfather planted those as saplings when he built it.

My grandparents built this home to welcome the adoption of my father. My father and mother moved in to help my grandmother after my grandfather died. She died shortly after they moved in. My mother, father, and two sisters lived there until they divorced in 1986. My father then moved out. In 1989, my mother, myself and two sisters moved to Girard, Oh. My mother gave the house back to my father who lived in it with his new family until 2002. He then sold the property in terrible condition. On the wall in the basement in the laundry room, my mother painted the wall white and this wall became our art easel. No one ever died in the house and it never was spooky, even as a child. Most of the memories were good ones.

we have seen,heard Spirits. A girl asked my father for a cigarette while he was sleeping on the couch, thinking it was my mother he agreed. with his eyes closed he proceeded to pull a cigarette out of his pack. he held it out for her to get (eyes still closed) she took it (he felt a cold draft). He heard someone walking up the steps. He knew it wasn't my mother for she was in a car wreck and was not able to walk up the stairs. he looked on the love seat and my mother was asleep. He looked at the steps and seen a long dark haired young girl walking up the stairs. No one else lives in this house other than my little sister who is 6years old and was at school at the time. Another was my neighbor Chuck came over to hangout. they heard some noises upstairs and curios they sent him to investigate. As he was upstairs looking around in the rooms and nothing was there he turned around to come back downstairs. as he did he heard a deep Growl from the closet and it scared him shitless. 3 steps and he was down the stairs with goosebumps and as white as a ghost. we have heard other noises around the house as well. There was also two deaths that have occurred. we would like to know more if you could help us. :) thanks

ummm...bittersweet...Their was 5 of us all girls my mom & dad i had a cat named pepsi. my mom & dad decided to move when i was 17 they sold it to my sister Cari she ended up losing it after her divorce which was devastating to all of us!! I remember having Christmas there us girls & my mom would all sit in the big kitchen talking while the guys sat in the living room watching the game. if there is still panaling in the small bedroom upstairs i have a hand print on the wall behind the paneling my dad made the "powder room" at the stop of the stairs for us girls. I went into labor with my first child in that house i was only 16 so that house has seen alot of sorrow & anger my dad lost his job after 32 yrs at OK Trucking. he sat on the back patio & cried it was the 1st & only time i have ever seen him cry.
