| Memory | We really loved Jerome and were very excited to rent this apartment. Though the highway was noisy, and the town sort of gossipy and nosy, we thought we were so lucky to have such an expansive view of the entire Verde Valley. Our first couple of years there were very happy. After that the noisy road and cramped quarters started to take a toll on us. This inspired us to buy our own house, which we did after living here. |
| Other Information | It was 38 steps up to Verde Street where we parked. Our cat was hit and killed by a car on Hwy 89A, right in front of our porch, and we moved shortly thereafter. |

When we first moved in the interior was flamingo pink.
When renovating the floors we discovered layers and layers of
linoleum...even under the carpeting. We believe an older couple
possible owned the house originally. We have doors that open out into
the backyard in strange places too.
